Well, it would appear that the Wordpress software upgrade went successfully. I would really like to thank the 1&1 team for assisting me in this process.

So things change
But hopefully the old content on this blog will stay the same.
Rather than keep using this out of date version of Wordpress, I have installed a new version on my server. The issue is that I am currently using a Wordpress installation from 1&1, my web host. I am currently getting the run around for trying to get a copy of my blog files and the DB. So I will be manually backing up post data, but some of them may not get reposted, and, if they get reposted they will all have new post dates. Kinda upsetting as this is the first support issue I have ever had with 1&1…
