My birthday makes Obama cry….

Filed under: 2nd Amendment, Guns, Me, life — Doug @ 23:43

While my birthday is still almost a month away, my dad and I were at the Norfolk gun show yesterday and he decided that I didn’t need to wait to get my new carry gun.  While I filled out the background check form and did the purchasing, my father paid for it.  I now present….my Sig Sauer P220

Mew Sig

So, my dad and I took it to the range and had a good amount of fun.  Now I just need to buy some holsters…

An open letter to Governor Tim Kaine

Mr. Governor,
I have to ask why you feel the need to ignore constituents at every turn.  You are going to veto the restaurant ban repeal that so many want and have worked for, while signing a bill that takes away the rights of a business to make their own choices.

The smoking ban is insane.  People who don’t want to eat or work at a restaurant that has a smoking section have a choice to not be there.  It is in fact their own fault for anything they incur from the small chances of second hand smoke illnesses.  While on the other hand you make another law that takes away my right to defend myself while eating with my family.  Pizza Hut restaurants have ABC licenses last I checked.

I can totally understand how you and President Obama get along so well, you think exactly the same.  We as citizens are capable of making our own decisions for our lives.  Whether those decisions are financial, health or safety, we ultimately are responsible.  Please stop being our nanny.  This is the only downside to the term limit for the office of our Governor, you have no repercussions for doing a bad job.

I would love to understand why you feel the need to legislate my life choices for me…

Douglas Anthony Arcidino

So basically I am asking why he is a fucking moron…

If every time you open your mouth the stock market drops…

maybe you should change your fucking message Mr. President…

If every time you say that you are going to hurt an industry with excessive taxation, why don’t you reverse your statements. You promise to grow the economy yet your first month brings a 20 percent drop in the stock market. You are bankrupting my generation, the following generation and potentially the generation after that. I want the presidency and my country to succeed but you are setting us up for failure. 53% of Americans invested their future in you. They invested their trust in you. Now you are betraying us…

I respect your office but I cannot respect you…

Long Time No See….

So, what would be the best way to make a new post? How about talking about something that will no doubt be very controversial. I can quote a person I know as saying, “…you are a chauvinistic, prejudice, ignorant, closed-minded, young person.” While some would be offended by this statement and others it would be true, I can sincerely say I am none of those bad words. While I am young, I am far from chauvinistic, far from prejudice, far from ignorant, and especially far from closed-minded.

So, what am I? Why would I let off an aura that would allow someone to come up with a feeling like this? I am someone who is extremely conservative. I am also very outspoken and will let virtually everyone know my opinion, supported by facts. I have a great ability to articulate my point of view to a small group in a conversation. I am a terrible public speaker, but enjoy great back and fourths. In the last four years I have got more into understanding politics and the foundation upon which our nation was born. I feel these things are very important. That is also why most any of my conversations have to so with politics. I feel that things like prejudice don’t exist much in our society. Prejudice often only exists by those who claim they are affected by it. The first person to mention race in our most recent presidential election was President Barack Hussein Obama. He used it as a tool. He used it to make anything anyone said about him racist. This was probably what helped get him elected. He made the election a racial issue. I for one, have many problems with President Obama. Him and I differ like water and fire. Many people before him used this same tool. I know that a woman who worked for my company was fired over an issue like this. She was giving an employee a bunch of information related to a promotion the other employee had not received yet. As it turned out, she never did get the promotion. She felt that my co-worker had assured her the new position. When she did not receive it she contacted a minority justice group because she felt she was rejected the position because she was black. The group then began to harass my company about this. The solution was to fire my co-worker. This woman sought justice by using her race. It is inconceivable to believe that there was any validity to her claim but in the interest of saving face my company did this. So, in the spirit of fake racial issues like this one, I tend to make jokes about racism. I like to remind people how phony these prejudicial crutches are. Does racism exist in this country? Absolutely, but most people are not racist. Most people are not prejudice at all. The quickest way to end racism and other prejudices, is in fact to leave them alone. Stop calling racism when something doesn’t work out. Hillary Clinton was always the first to raise the sexism flag when something negative was said about her. The forms of hate that arise in prejudice will always fail. If everyone would step back and admit they only fail by their own faults we could advance a lot faster. I have made a great many mistakes in my life. Each of these mistakes has held me back. No matter your race, religion, sex or whatever makes you different, you are responsible for your position in life. Affirmative Action, was one of the biggest mistakes in U.S. history. It has set us back so many decades that I doubt we can calculate it all. Adjusting college entrances to ensure a diverse school population is pure insanity. The best people should be accepted to the best colleges. The best people should become cops. The best people should survive. I believe some people are destined to dig ditches. Some people are destined to fail. Looking at the housing crisis I say some people are destined to rent but the government writes legislation to require loans be made to people who could barely pay their rent. Because of this we now have a dried up credit market. This is why I joke people who claim prejudice. Rather than give everyone a chance to succeed we have made success harder to achieve by the majority. College tuition has skyrocketed along with everything else to make up for cheap rides. Imagine if a company had to hire two people for a job that only required one. To make up their cost they would have to lower the salary for both people. This is the shit that has me joking prejudice.
There is nothing racist in what I just wrote. There is nothing sexist about what I just wrote. I am not a prejudice person, I am not ignorant and I am not closed-minded. I see the world as a joke in my generation because the previous generation has made it a joke. I think a president who believes there needs to be more social justice is setting us back even more. He will make us destined to fail. The common outlook is that equal opportunity failure is acceptable. So long as no one succeeds that is better than some failing while most people succeed. So call me prejudice, call me immature, call me what ever you would like. I will succeed by my own merits and I will say “fuck off” from the top of the mountain because I made it. I will have people who helped me along the way. They will not help me because I am white. They will help me because they think I deserve it. Anyone who thinks differently about that can eat shit and die. I believe in hating everyone equally!

Danaldi Moore wins again and sets a legal precedent for the Waterside Mall

Filed under: 2nd Amendment, Guns, politics — Doug @ 15:59

I am posting this word for word from the VCDL VA-Alert as there is no page on the VCDL site about this right now.  I will post a link to the VCDL page when one is posted.

Big Win for Gun Owners!  2/10/09

I just got the word - Danladi Moore, who was arrested for trespass by a Norfolk police officer last August while Danladi was lawfully open carrying at Norfolk’s Waterside Mall, has just won his case in court!

The judge told the Norfolk City Attorney that because of the City’s financial interest in the mall, the mall is considered PUBLIC property and Danladi was therefore NOT trespassing.  All charges are to be dropped.

Well, well - another most deserved lesson to City Attorney Bernard Pishko on not harassing law-abiding gun owners.

Pishko was hell-bent on prosecuting Danladi Moore to teach him a lesson because Danladi had challenged Norfolk’s authority in a previous harassment case and won a $10,000 settlement.

Hopefully Dan can now sue the pants off Norfolk AGAIN!

I wonder how much this latest blunder is going to cost Norfolk?  Perhaps another zero on the end of the previous settlement?

Go get ‘em, Danladi!  ;-)

We are attempting to get the transcript of the ruling as it could have much bigger implications for other such government-owned venues across the state.

I hope he puts what is left of the $10,000 to good use for a huge hurt on Norfolk over this one!

Failure

I was disappointed that Mark Warner and Jim Webb didn’t oppose Holder’s nomination and now I know that neither of them opposed bankrupting my genreation with this Stimulus bill.  It is over for them.  I will not stop until they both lose their next elections.  Simple as that.  I have no respect for them at all and I do not want them there if they are going to walk the party line and side with BHO on every proposed marxist bill.

The vote is scheduled for Monday. Please call your Senators and urge them to block this from happening!

If you are in Virginia, please call Senator Webb and Senator Warner. We all hoped that Warner would not stick to the party line and do what was right. This is his test!
